INTRODUCTION

The Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) ("PDPA") has been gazetted and came into force to regulate the processing of personal data in relation to commercial transactions. Vanke Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (1238449-V) and its group of companies, affiliates and its authorised entities (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Vanke", "we" or "us") respect the needs to maintain the confidentiality and security in respect of the personal data that you may provide to us through various channels including but without limitation to Vanke website. You are deemed to have read, understood and thereby consented Vanke to view and use your personal data in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. Both English version and Chinese version of Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") are currently available for your perusal. The English version shall prevail over the Chinese version in the event of discrepancies. Vanke reserves its right to amend, modify or update the Policy from time to time. Vanke shall notify through Vanke website in the event of material changes of this Policy.

**Vanke does not assume any responsibility to verify any third party’s personal data that has been provided to Vanke through recommendation, referral or nomination wherein the consent to disclose shall first be obtained from sych third party in favour of the data provider prior to such disclosure to Vanke.

We may use and process your personal data in connection with the services that you may have requested from Vanke including but without limitation to: -

• Recruitment purposes
• Subscription of Vanke newsletter
• Participation in online activities or contest
• Participation in discussion or message forums
• Registration of interest in launching events, promotions, offers and etc
• Downloading brochures and product materials
• Marketing purposes
• Vanke internal administrative purposes such as auditing, data analysis and research and development for security and fraud prevention

DISCLOSURE

Vanke shall take all reasonable measures to protect your personal data which is in our possession. However, Vanke reserves the right to disclose such information to any third party in the following circumstances (including but without limitation to):-

• for banking and financial institutions (such as loan application etc)
• for the authorised usage of Vanke

RETENTION

Vanke will retain your personal data for Vanke’s usage which shall comply with the applicable law.

Vanke does not assume any responsibility to verify the accuracy of your personal data upon your submission of the same. You may contact Vanke as per the contact details set out below to verify or update your personal date or withdraw your consent to Vanke that you have provided earlier.
